Background

python-django is a high-level Python web development framework. It provides a set of tools and libraries for building web applications quickly and efficiently. This vulnerability affects python-django version 1.4.5-1+deb7u9 and earlier versions.

Vulnerability Detail

The vulnerability, identified as CVE-2015-0219, allows a remote attacker to spoof WSGI headers by exploiting the way the WSGI environ in Django handles headers containing dashes and underscores. This could lead to potential security breaches and unauthorized access to sensitive information.

Another vulnerability, CVE-2015-0220, enables a remote attacker to perform a cross-site scripting attack by exploiting the improper handling of leading whitespaces in user-supplied redirect URLs.

Additionally, CVE-2015-0221 allows a remote attacker to mount a denial of service attack by exploiting the way Django handles reading files in the django.views.static.serve() view, potentially leading to resource consumption and service disruption.

How To Fix
